Thousands of miles away from home, from all the people we grew up with, the scenes and scents that we identified ourselves with, we started afresh in new pastures and newer pursuits. Here in this group we unite, in hope, that we will now have faces to smile at, shoulders to lean on and hands to hold, whether in joy or in sorrow.
